Some Recognition Has Come Our Way! Yippee!!

Posted on December 9, 2016 at 6:35 AM Comments comments (2)

What great news! This morning I was checking my e-mail as usual when I received an e-mail from BestCSS.in.

They have listed us on their gallery of best designed websites. I did not think that this would ever happen. Yes, I did enter as for consideration, but I never thought that anything will come of it.

Well, I guess I was wrong. We are now listed on their website and hopefully we will also be considered...

Free E-Mail For EveryOne

Posted on November 20, 2016 at 6:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Our e-mail application found in some of our office suites is only able to comply with native ISP{Internet Service Provider} e-mail accounts that do not require a SSL or authenticated smtp/pop3 server, which excludes web based e-mail accounts.

This is because in order to support a SSL connection, the mail server requires a valid security certificate from our application.

Unfortunately we can't afford such ...

How To Install The Helpfile WinHlp32.exe in Windows 10

Posted on November 9, 2016 at 4:05 AM Comments comments (0)

It is with an absolute shock that I've discovered that Microsoft has decided to deprecate/cancel the helpfile system for software that use the 32bit helpfile platform on Windows 10. They have even gone so far as to ban all third-party software developers from distributing the helpfile to their software users.

Just download the appropriate file for your Windows 10 installation and follow the instructions!

Posted on November 3, 2016 at 5:55 AM Comments comments (0)

I will be adding MD5 checksum values to all our download files in the next few weeks. This will ensure that you can check the integrity of all our programs and files after you have downloaded them.

Here is a free MD5 or SHA1 checksum checker from Microsoft. It is command based, so read the "ReadMe.htm" after the installation on how to properly use this application.

Directly from their website:

CloudFlare... Our Saviour

Posted on November 3, 2016 at 5:45 AM Comments comments (2)

Due to the immense and vicious DDOS attacks on our servers for the last couple of weeks, did I decide to take matters into my own hands.

I did this by placing our website on CloudFlare. This seems to be the best thing I have ever done. Not only is our website a million times faster than ever before due to the local caching on servers worldwide, but we now also have protection against DDOS attacks.

We Are Hilariously Ecstatic!!

My brother and I never thought that we would see this day arrive!

At the beginning of the year I decided to add a PayPal donate button to our website in hope of adding a few dollars to our kitty in order to subsidise some of the expenses we have for our website.

Well... low and behold, we actually received enough contributions and donations to cover all our expenses for the year. We have, to date, received

Stop Using Proprietary Document Formats!

Posted on October 20, 2016 at 10:40 AM Comments comments (3)

You may have noticed that there are no docx or xlsx document formats supported in our applications. This is because in order to support any MS Office document format, we require a very expensive license {...in the million$...} from Microsoft for each format.

The reason for this is that they are all proprietary patented formats. So you may ask us this then; "...but what about the other open source, free, and r...

The Need For Speed In Windows

Our free software doesn't run on Java or DotNet like most open source software e.g. OpenOffice, LibreOffice, and so many others available on the internet. These third-party operating systems consume massive amounts of hardware resources and effectively slow down your computer system’s responsiveness, and nobody wants that… now do you?

Make Your Documents Future Proof And DRM Free With HTML5

Posted on September 20, 2016 at 7:55 AM Comments comments (0)

All the big players in the office software productivity market are currently doing everything they can to lock people in to their proprietary document formats like DOCX and XLSX. Microsoft and Google are actively discouraging people to use open and free document formats like RTF and even plain text.
