If you have Windows 7 installed, does not matter which one, there is a small adjustment you can make to improve the performance and increase the reliability of Windows 7 when running.

If you have 4 GB of RAM or more, you can simply disable the swap file{Page File} on you C drive. This will then force Windows to load all its files into memory when starting up. This will then make everything run faster.  

Your updates will also be more faster, and connections to Microsoft's servers easier and without problems. Don't ask me why, but it just does.
